This is a DataCenter only bugfix and compatibility release.

New Features

Confluence 10 support: Version 2.4.1.1 is the first release to support Confluence 10 DataCenter.
Note: Due to platform differences, future releases for DataCenter will use separate versions for Confluence 9 and lower on the one side, and Confluence 10 on the other side, with the Confluence 10 compatible releases having an additional x.y.z.1 subversion. E.g. version 2.4.1 is compatible with Confluence 9 and lower, and version 2.4.1.1 is compatible with Confluence 10.

2.3 - Major Release

Bugfixes

Fixed various bugs related to tables and BPMN nodes in collaborative sessions.
Diagram styles like sketch or isometric mode are now persisted correctly across sessions.
Fixed the handling of the floating layout button in collaborative sessions.
Saving a diagram while a layout was running could break the application. Saving is now disabled while a layout is active.
It was possible to interact with the macro in the page editor and the new live mode, which could result in data loss. Interaction with the macro is now disabled in these contexts (Cloud only).

Known issues

Confluence 9: Anonymous mode is currently not supported (DataCenter only).
Confluence 7 and 8: Installing the app displays a warning that not all modules could be enabled. This can be safely ignored (DataCenter only).

New Features

The new default "Automatic" layout option suggests a graph arrangement depending on the given graph structure.
Improved support for Mindmaps:
- A new Mindmap layout that is specifically designed to arrange graphs in a mindmap fashion with a central root node.
- A Mindmap specific item palette and sample diagrams.
Vastly improved workflow when creating elements:
- Nodes can be created while creating new edges by holding the CTRL or ALT (or Option on MacOS) key.
- Nodes can be created when clicking on empty canvas while holding ALT (or Option on MacOS) key.
- Easily convert any node to a group node with a reworked "Grouping" context menu.
Support for importing more structural file formats: JSON, TGF, GML

System requirements

The minimum supported version of Confluence is now 7.9 (DataCenter only).
Support for Internet Explorer has been removed (DataCenter only).

Improvements

The property panel switches automatically to the best view for the current context.
The "Use ctrl + scroll" overlay in for embedded diagrams is now less obstructing.
It is now possible to Drag & Drop multiple images into a palette.
Adding items to and saving palettes now works consistently for all types of palettes.
Improved appearance on mobile devices.
Several improvements for label handling.
overflow hidden is now removed from exported SVG elements.

2.1 - Major Release

New Features

It is now possible to layout only selected parts of a given graph with the new partial layout feature.
A new rich-text editor provides many new options to format labels.
Many new element styles and style properties have been added:
- Added many new shapes to the shape nodes palette.
- Added a brand-new group node style with many more options.
- Added new edge styles for arcs, bridges and straight line edges.
- Added more background shape visualizations for labels.
Layouts can now be canceled interactively.
Added an option to wrap the text along the actual shape boundaries.
It is now possible to automatically align nodes to each other and distribute them evenly.
The "Add Confluence Link" dialog is now also accessible via the CTRL+K shortcut as in the confluence page editor.
A new substructure style (CompactDisk) for the organic layout has been added.

System requirements

The minimum required version of Confluence is now 7.0.1 (Server/DataCenter only).

Improvements

The overall theme for input elements, snaplines and the scrollbars has been completely overhauled and modernized.
Collaboration mouse cursors now display user avatars instead of plain usernames.
It is now possible to remove unreferenced diagram attachments that are left over from a cloud migration (Cloud only).
The misleading "Create/Remove" buttons aren't shown in the macro preview in the Confluence page editor anymore (Server/DataCenter only).
External links in the diagram embedding are now opened in the top level window and not in the IFrame when "Open Links in New Windows" is disabled (Cloud only).
Improved positioning of new graph when importing it in an existing graph.
Center port-candidates are hidden during selection if the node is too small.
The contextual view now shows an indicator when nothing is selected.
Users now only see diagram templates for which they have sufficient permissions.
Layout calculation for empty graphs is now prevented.
Several minor UI and internationalization improvements.

Very large diagrams don't trigger a POST data limit exception on save anymore (Server/DataCenter only).
Fixed copied Graphity macros still referencing diagram data of the original macro.
Fixed diagram settings being reset when saving a diagram (Cloud only).
Prevent empty diagram names for new macros which could lead to erroneous/duplicate embeddings (Cloud only).
Fixed "Edit" or "Create" buttons being shown in the embedded macro when user doesn't have required permissions (Cloud only).
Fixed unsupported characters from user input preventing user to save diagram.
Fixed several synchronization issues and exceptions in the properties panel.
Fixed nodes being dropped on edges within a group or table not being correctly reparented.

1.3 - Major Release

Graphity for Confluence now supports the integrated versioning system of Confluence. That means that diagrams created with Graphity 1.3 support reverting to an old Confluence page revision, with the diagrams in the page also reverting to this version.
Z-Order support. Nodes can now be placed above or beneath each other.
If concurrent edits happen, i.e. if two users edit a diagram at the same time, conflicts while saving are reported. The user can choose to override the changes made by other users, or save a copy of the diagram. It's also possible to export the diagram to a GraphML file and later re-import it.
Confluence Administrators can define template diagram source pages in the Graphity admin section. That allows users to add diagrams to these pages that are loaded as template graphs in Graphitys"New" menu when creating or editing a diagram. This feature makes it possible to create custom diagrams that act as starting points for commonly used diagram types, or diagrams that use a certain corporate design.
A diagram can be saved as a copy on another Confluence page. This function is available as "Save As..."in Graphitys "Save" menu.
Managing default styles in the editor has been improved.
Users can now set a default label style.
Labels inside nodes can be selected easier.
The editor shows visual hints for certain advanced gestures in actions like re-grouping, resizing and label editing
New breadcrumbs visual hint when navigated into a group node
